Join Friends of Lake Laurentian for our sixth annual Friends and Family Outdoor Adventure Day .Outdoor Adventures that your family can take part in for free on that day include canoeing, stand up paddle boarding with SUP Yoga, archery, pond studies, hikes, and fishing! That week is an Ontario Family Fishing week, so no fishing licenses are required (more information at ontariofamilyfishing.com). Fishing gear and free bait will be available courtesy of the OFAH Tackleshare program and Ramakkos, and volunteers from the Sudbury Game and Fish Protective Association will be on hand to help. Join us for Healthy Kids Adventure Play at the Dowling Community Centre! This program provides a unique space where children have the materials and freedom to create their own environment and to discover many different types of play. The space is filled with raw materials or "loose parts" that allow the children to continuously change and adapt their play based on their creativity and interests.
