Saturday April 22 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM WISE Science and Engineering Olympics

Join us for the 18th Annual WISE Science and Engineering Olympics. The Olympics are a fun, FREE, full day event for 120 girls in Grades 4 to 7 from Sudbury and surrounding areas. Working in small teams of approximately 5-6 members, students will participate in four separate hands-on experiments from various science and engineering disciplines. Each experiment has its own scoring criteria, based on teamwork, member participation, planning, documentation, ingenuity, creativity, etc. The objective is to present science and engineering to these students in an interesting, fun, stimulating and positive way. At the end of the event, all participants will receive a certificate of participation and medals will be awarded to members of the winning teams.

The Olympics start at 9:00 am until 3:30 pm; thanks to our generous sponsors, the event is free and includes a pizza lunch and a snack for all participants. Students requiring a special meal should bring their lunch at drop-off with instructions.
