Our Hub staff is trained in offering the Triple P One-on-One Program (one to four sessions) to help parents/guardians with children up to 12 years of age focus on a specific parenting challenge or issue. With coaching, parents will learn and practice parenting strategies and will monitor their child's progress.
 
Triple P is for every parent, whether you have a specific problem, or are just looking for advice on common, everyday issues.  It provides easy to use tips and new ideas that will help you build confidence and new skills.

Every 1st Saturday of the month, we invite the whole RRA family to get together for a hike exploring our beautiful nature trails! On this Hike Club meeting, we will meet at the Living with Lakes Centre en Ramsey Lake Road at 9:45 to sign forms, and head West on Ramsey Lake and close by trails towards Bell Park and spend a few minutes at the Snow Day festival before taking off towards McCrea Island (the largest Island on that section of Ramsey Lake).  After that, we will split off in two groups - You can choose to head straight back to the starting point, or continue with Albert a little longer before looping back to the starting point through Bethel lake. If you require snowshoes for the event, please indicate the quantity and sizes in your RSVP.

Join Conservation Sudbury for our sixth annual Friends and Family Ice Fishing Day! The event will be held on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area Nature Chalet (2309 South Bay Rd.) from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. That weekend is an Ontario Family Fishing weekend, so no fishing licenses are required (more information at ontariofamilyfishing.com). Ice fishing activities will include learning proper catch and release techniques and making your own ice fishing rod from a stick. Ice augers, gear and free bait will be available courtesy of our partners, the OFAH Tackleshare program, Ramakko’s and the Sudbury Game and Fish Protective Association. Round out the day with building a snowman or sculpture on the lake, or going for a snowshoe out on the lake or hiking trails – snowshoes and maps will be available for free. Winter is the perfect season to look for signs of animal life in the woods. Join Conservation Sudbury for our seventh annual Winter Animal Tracking and Guided Snowshoe Hike. The event will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Nature Chalet (2309 South Bay Rd.) from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Participants will take a guided snowshoe tour with a nature interpreter and discover a winter forest full of life!  Would you recognise the tracks of a snowshoe hare or a red fox?
